The Power Players Nonprofit of the Year Award recognizes one outstanding nonprofit organization that is making a measurable, meaningful impact in our community. This $25,000 grant is designed to celebrate organizations that are changing lives, strengthening our region, and leading with purpose, innovation, and integrity.
This award is open to nonprofits of all sizes—from grassroots organizations to established institutions. If your organization is creating real change, we want to hear your story.
The winner will be selected from submitted applications and announced live on stage at the Power Players Community Impact Awards.
Award Criteria
Applicants will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
1. Community Impact
Demonstrates clear, measurable impact on the individuals or communities served. Shows how your work is making a meaningful difference.
2. Mission Effectiveness
Strong alignment between your mission, programs, and outcomes. Evidence that your organization is delivering on its promise.
3. Leadership & Vision
Demonstrates strong leadership, clear direction, and a compelling vision for the future.
4. Innovation or Unique Approach
Shows creativity, originality, or a distinctive approach to solving a problem or serving the community.
5. Sustainability & Growth Potential
Demonstrates responsible stewardship of resources and the ability to sustain and grow impact over time.
6. Alignment with Community Values
Reflects a commitment to service, equity, collaboration, and community well-being.
Important: Organizations must be present at the Power Players Community Impact Awards to be eligible to receive the award.
